Every show on TheAttReviews is ranked using an ELO rating system — the same algorithm used in competitive chess. Shows are compared head-to-head, and the winner gains ELO points while the loser drops. Over hundreds of matchups, this produces a reliable pecking order based on genuine quality rather than popularity or hype. A show ranked #1 has consistently beaten higher-ranked opponents to earn its place.

The Woke Rating (1–5) is a separate measure of how much modern political messaging is present in a show, with 5 meaning completely woke-free and 1 meaning the messaging dominates the storytelling.
