Patrick Wilson

Patrick Wilson is an American actor with leading roles across television, film and theatre. His screen credits include Angels in America, Little Children, Watchmen and the Insidious and Conjuring films. The range runs from intimate domestic drama to large-scale comic-book adaptations and recurring horror roles.

On television, he plays Lou Solverson in the second season of Fargo. Lou is a Minnesota state trooper, and Wilson's place in that ensemble offers a useful contrast with the supernatural threats in his horror films.

In Cape Fear, he plays Tom Bowden alongside Amy Adams as Anna. Both are lawyers, but their connection to Max Cady makes the danger facing them intensely personal. Wilson is one of the three leads in the ten-part 2026 series, with Javier Bardem playing Cady.
