About Maggie Siff

Maggie Siff is an American actor known for Rachel Menken in Mad Men, Dr. Tara Knowles in Sons of Anarchy and Wendy Rhoades in Billions.

Wendy's work as Axe Capital's performance coach makes listening an important part of the role. Siff gives those conversations authority without treating calmness as a blank expression. She can make it clear that Wendy has understood more than the other person intended to say.

The role also places her between a demanding professional life and a complicated home life. Siff gives Wendy enough pride in her own work to keep her from becoming merely a point of disagreement between Chuck and Axe.

Siff studied at Bryn Mawr College and earned an MFA in acting at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Her stage career accompanies film work including A Woman, a Part, which she starred in and executive-produced. She has also appeared in Grey's Anatomy as Ruthie Sales and Nip/Tuck as Rachel Ben Natan.

The Billions review discusses Wendy's importance to the series.
