Juno Temple

Juno Temple plays Bettye McCartt in The Offer. Bettye has to deal with the practical work behind other people's grand plans, and Temple gives her a quickness that makes that work interesting to watch.

She also plays Keeley Jones in Ted Lasso, Dorothy Lyon in the fifth season of Fargo, and Emily in the “Autofac” episode of Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams. Those parts offer very different uses of her energy and directness.

In The Offer, she helps prevent the producer's office becoming a place where men simply explain their intentions. Bettye is paying attention to what can actually be done. Temple makes her part of the story's momentum, rather than someone standing beside it.
