About Tramell Tillman

Tramell Tillman plays Milchick in Severance, the manager whose professional smile rarely makes the office feel more relaxed. His performance depends on control: immaculate manners, carefully measured encouragement and the sense that a routine conversation might turn without warning. He won the Emmy for Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for the role in 2025.

Tillman trained at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, earning an MFA in acting. His stage work includes The Great Society on Broadway and Good Night, Oscar at Chicago's Goodman Theatre.

Before Severance, his television credits included Steven in Dietland, Bobby Robinson in Godfather of Harlem and Detective Sommers in Hunters. They place him across comedy, period drama and crime stories before the role that brought him wider attention.

Milchick's composure is a large part of what makes him effective. Tillman can move between warmth and pressure without making the change feel like a different character. It is an exact fit for a workplace where management language often conceals more than it explains.
