Jesse Plemons

Jesse Plemons plays Robert Daly in USS Callister, an episode of Black Mirror that puts a very uncomfortable personality inside bright, familiar space-adventure packaging. He is good at letting apparent awkwardness carry several possible meanings. The episode benefits from that uncertainty.

Plemons has an unusually strong television run behind him: Landry Clarke in Friday Night Lights, Todd Alquist in Breaking Bad and Ed Blumquist in Fargo.
