About Terry Kinney
An American actor and theater director, and a co-founder of Chicago's renowned Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Kinney played Emerald City unit manager Tim McManus on Oz, the idealistic heart of the series. He has also directed TV episodes and acted in films (Sleepers) and series (Billions), known for his thoughtful, layered performances.
