Rachel Keller

Rachel Keller plays Samantha in Tokyo Vice, an American hostess trying to build a more independent life in Tokyo. Keller gives her ambition a practical edge: Samantha understands the value of attention, but that does not make every relationship easy to manage.

Keller's breakthrough television role was Simone Gerhardt in the second season of Fargo. She then played Syd Barrett in Legion, another Noah Hawley series, before appearing as Cassandra in The Society.

Her film work includes In the Shadow of the Moon, A Man Called Otto and Butcher's Crossing. In Tokyo Vice, she is most effective when Samantha is assessing what a person wants from her. The character's professional composure and personal expectations do not always sit comfortably together.
