Michael C. Hall

About Michael C. Hall
Michael C. Hall plays Dexter Morgan in Dexter, giving the character two performances at once: the agreeable man his colleagues see and the private voice the audience hears. His precise timing makes both the dark humour and the effort of appearing ordinary convincing.
Before Miami, Hall played David Fisher in Six Feet Under. It is a very different family drama, and a useful companion for anyone interested in his work beyond Dexter. His other television credits include Safe, Tom Franklin in The Defeated and John F. Kennedy in The Crown.
He continues the Dexter role in New Blood and Resurrection, and supplies the inner voice in Original Sin. The original series gives the fullest introduction to the performance: not just the narration, but the small adjustments Hall makes when Dexter has to stop thinking and answer somebody.
