Melissa Rauch

Melissa Rauch plays Bernadette Rostenkowski in The Big Bang Theory. The contrast between Bernadette's gentle-sounding voice and her forceful personality is a rich source of comedy. Rauch can make a sweetly delivered sentence leave very little room for disagreement, while giving Bernadette friendships and ambitions that extend beyond the next punchline.

Her television credits include Summer in True Blood and Cathy Duke in the US Office. She later took the lead role of Judge Abby Stone in the Night Court revival, on which she also served as an executive producer.

Rauch co-wrote and starred in The Bronze, playing a former gymnast who has struggled to move beyond an early success. She has also worked extensively in animation, including voicing Harley Quinn in the film Batman and Harley Quinn. Her work combines character acting with writing and producing.
