Patrick Heusinger

Patrick Heusinger plays Nick Durand in Absentia, opposite Stana Katic. Nick is an FBI agent whose missing wife returns after six years, by which time he has remarried. The role places Heusinger in both the investigation and the difficult family situation Emily comes home to.

Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Heusinger trained at Juilliard. His stage work includes Next Fall and Fiddler on the Roof on Broadway, the national tour of Monty Python's Spamalot, and Bent at the Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles.

On television, he has recurring roles in Revolution, Royal Pains, Gossip Girl, Casual and Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce. He also makes guest appearances in The Good Wife, 30 Rock and Rescue Me. In Revolution, he plays Adam.

His film credits include the independent drama Sweet Land and Frances Ha. He appears opposite Tom Cruise as the Hunter in Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. Absentia gives him a longer-running part, with Nick's work and family responsibilities closely entangled from the start.
