About Milly Alcock

Milly Alcock plays the younger Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen in House of the Dragon. She gives Rhaenyra a useful combination of confidence and impatience: someone who has grown up close to power, but is still discovering how little control that guarantees. Her scenes with Paddy Considine help make the early family conflict feel personal rather than simply a matter of succession.

The Australian actress previously played Meg in the comedy-drama Upright and stars as Kara Zor-El in the 2026 film Supergirl. In House of the Dragon, she establishes the character that Emma D'Arcy later takes over. Alcock makes the formal court setting feel restrictive without needing Rhaenyra to explain that frustration in every conversation.
