Frankie Faison

American actor who plays Ervin Burrell, the politically minded Police Commissioner of Baltimore. Faison, a veteran actor with credits since the 1980s, brought credibility to Burrell's bureaucratic bluster. He is also recognized for his role as Barney in the Hannibal Lecter film series and numerous character roles in films (Do the Right Thing) and TV (Banshee), making him a familiar face in American screen drama.
