Cristiana Dell'Anna

About Cristiana Dell'Anna
Cristiana Dell'Anna plays Patrizia in Gomorrah. Her performance is attentive to the difference between holding your composure and feeling safe. Patrizia belongs to the show's world of obligations and limited choices, but Dell'Anna gives her an individual sense of judgment.
Born in Naples, Dell'Anna worked in Italian television before reaching a wider international audience through Gomorrah. She played twins in Un posto al sole and appeared in The Hand of God, Toscana and The King of Laughter. The last brought a David di Donatello supporting-actress nomination.
She took the title role in Cabrini, playing Frances Xavier Cabrini in a very different kind of period story. The contrast with Patrizia is substantial. Gomorrah remains a strong place to see how effectively she can make restraint carry a scene.
