Claudia Gerini plays Sara Monaschi in Suburra: Blood on Rome. Sara's place in the story brings the negotiations away from the street and into rooms where people expect their interests to be expressed more discreetly.

Gerini's long Italian film career includes Carlo Verdone's Viaggi di nozze and Sono pazzo di Iris Blond. She also appears in John Wick: Chapter 2.

In Suburra, her composure is useful precisely because it is not the same as security. She can make a carefully managed conversation feel vulnerable to one unexpected demand. That gives the series another way to present pressure, alongside the more openly volatile behaviour of Aureliano and Spadino.
