Iranian-American actress. Academy Award nominee for House of Sand and Fog (2003) and Primetime Emmy winner for the miniseries House of Saddam (2008). Celebrated for her distinctive voice and Iranian accent, and known as UN politician Chrisjen Avasarala on The Expanse.
