About Ian McShane

English actor and producer with a five-decade career. Best known internationally for his Golden Globe-winning turn as Al Swearengen in Deadwood, and earlier as the title character in the long-running BBC series Lovejoy. Has also played memorable roles in American Gods, John Wick, and the Pirates of the Caribbean films.
