Mexican actor, director, and producer born in Toluca and raised in Mexico City. Broke out internationally in Alfonso Cuarón's Y tu mamá también (2001) and went on to play Cassian Andor in Rogue One and the Andor series. Co-founded the production company Canana Films with Gael García Bernal.
