David Dawson

English actor from Widnes best known for his understated and acclaimed turn as King Alfred the Great in The Last Kingdom seasons one to three. Graduated from RADA, has worked extensively in theatre at the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National, and has appeared in Ripper Street, Peaky Blinders, and the film The Lighthouse.
