English actress and comedian. Played DoSAC minister Nicola Murray in series three and four of The Thick of It, a role that won her a BAFTA. Long-standing collaborator of Armando Iannucci, with work going back to On the Hour and The Day Today. Later roles include Lewis, War and Peace, and Poldark.
