Phyllis Logan

Scottish actress born in Paisley in 1956. Won the BAFTA for Most Promising Newcomer for Another Time, Another Place in 1983 and went on to play Lady Jane Felsham in Lovejoy and Mrs Hughes in Downton Abbey. Won Best Actress in Television at the Scottish BAFTAs for her role as Maggie Lynch in Guilt.
