Dennis Lehane

American novelist and television writer born in 1965 in Dorchester, Boston. Author of Mystic River, Gone Baby Gone, and Shutter Island, all adapted into acclaimed films. Wrote episodes of The Wire and Boardwalk Empire before creating and showrunning Black Bird for Apple TV+.
