American actor, writer, and producer known for creating and starring in the HBO comedies Eastbound & Down, Vice Principals, and The Righteous Gemstones. One of the defining comic voices of the 2010s and 2020s, often working with directors Jody Hill and David Gordon Green through their Rough House production company.
